Meet a Modern Day Craftsman: Carlos Neilbock
The Parducci Society is pleased to present an open house event with Neilbock at his studio, CAN Art Handworks, which specializes in old world architectural & ornamental metalwork and design. Neilbock will open his studio, talk about his process, and discuss upcoming projects with us.
Born in Germany, master metal craftsman Carlos Neilbock arrived in Detroit in 1984, set up his studio, and began work on the restoration of the Fox Theatre. He has since worked on countless projects, including the AT&T Building, the Hurlbut Memorial Gate, the Detroit Athletic Club, and the Spirit of Detroit.
Please join us for this special open house anytime between 10am – 2pm, but make sure you’re there for a special presentation from Carlos at either 11 am or 1 pm.
This is a ticketed event! Because space is limited, so please buy your tickets before the event to ensure entry. Tickets are $10 at Eventbrite and include cider, donuts, and Germack coffee (while the coffee lasts!)
